After Bloody Sunday, the national press corps arrived en masse, drawn by the presence of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who began a successful five-day march to Montgomery on March 21, 1965.
Here, Dr. King and his wife, Coretta Scott King, marched through Montgomery on March 25.
