Mrs. Parks' act of civil disobedience

Fred Gray grew up on an avenue
named for Jefferson Davis in Montgomery, Ala.

was unveiled in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall.
Parks was the first woman
and only the second African-American
to lie in state in the rotunda after she died in 2005.
